This is taking what the Nintendo Wii does to a whole new level. There are about 15 games that are coming out around the time that Kinect launches in November 2010, and here are some of those Xbox Kinect Games.
- Kinect Sports - This game will allow you to play many different sports and sporting events by using your body motions. You’ll be able to play soccer, beach volleyball, table tennis, bowling, and even a myriad of track and field events. This should definitely be a fun time for sports fans, and a great way for kids to be able to get some exercise.
- EA Sports Active 2.0 – Speaking of exercise, the Kinect camera is a great way to be able to play fitness video games. ES Sports is taking their Active franchise to the next level. You won’t be tied down to controllers or balance boards, you’ll be able to get real time feedback on how well you are doing the exercises or not. This will be like having a personal trainer right inside your home. It will even feature a heart rate monitor that you strap to your arm, so that you can gauge the intensity of your workout directly on screen.
- Kinectimals - This will be a fun game for the kids that will allow them to have a virtual pet. They’ll be able to talk to their pets thanks to Kinect’s voice recognition capabilities, as well as teach them various commands my modeling the behavior for them.
While there are many more games, these 3 definitely stick out as being able to showcase some of the great abilities of the Kinect accessory.
